I am writing to you regarding my appeal for my dismissal from the masters program. The grounds on which I wish to appeal are that I failed to attend classes due to personal issues and that is why I failed in two classes. First, I had to open my own business in the course of last semester and therefore I was not able to attend most of my classes. In addition, I would frequently travel to my home country to help my people, this made me to miss several classes, and this made me to fail in two classes. 

I feel that the concerned people did not give my situation the proper respect and understanding that it truly deserves. I missed several classes in the course of last semester due to personal issues. I had to open my own business to get funds for my school fees and personal upkeep. This business took much of my time and therefore I failed to attend several classes that made me fail in my examination. I also traveled several times to my home country to help my people and this contributed to my class failure since I was not able to attend all my lectures and this made it difficult for me to catch up with the rest of my classmates.  I faced financial problems in the course of the semester, this put a lot of pressure to me, and that is why I failed in the class work. I had to find a way of raising my school fees and my family members needed my help. That is why I ended up spending most of my time in my business to raise funds.

I feel that the situation is not reasonable because I never scored poor grades in my previous exams. Therefore, being dismissed from my masters program for failing in two classes is not acceptable. In this connection, I am requesting for your consideration of this matter. If there is any additional information I am required to provide to you that would help in this issue, please let me know.
